---A DREAM IS BORN---

In 2010, Jason Daniel started Okie Designs. The business venture was created to help other businesses, churches, groups and schools promote themselves. It was developed specifically for those entities that needed professional marketing and public relations services but were unable to afford a full-time marketing department. Okie Designs is perfect for all small and large entities. If you need marketing help, give Jason a call.

Jason lives in Brewton with his wife Danielle and their four children, Haley, Alex, Sam and Lillian. When not working Jason is a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church, where he serves as treasurer and church clerk. Jason also volunteers for his children’s sports, loves Cardinal baseball and the Oklahoma Sooners. Jason and his family also love to hunt and fish.

---BEFORE OKIE DESIGNS---

Jason Daniel was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1978. He graduated Oologah High School in 1996, during which time he was a member of the Oklahoma 4A State Championship baseball team. Jason graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Mass Communications in 2001 from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Jason later received a Master of Science Degree in Mass Communications from Northeastern State University in 2007.

While in undergraduate college Jason began his Pulp and Paper Industry experience accepting the internship position as a Public Relations Representative at Georgia-Pacific’s Muskogee, Okla. mill. Jason’s role at the mill expanded after undergraduate studies to include internal and external communications as well as community giving. Jason served as the mill’s recognition team leader, community event coordinator and team captain and co-captain for such charity fundraising for groups such as the March of Dimes, United Way and American Cancer Society.

During his tenure in Muskogee, Jason served as a board member for the Lakes Area United Way and Muskogee Chamber of Commerce. Jason also served on the Muskogee Development Established Industries Committee and City of Muskogee’s Character Council Committee.

Jason joined the GP Brewton mill in April 2008, taking the role of Public Affairs Manager. In this role, Jason was responsible for managing both internal and external communications and community affairs on GP issues. Jason worked closely with local government officials and community leaders to enrich the lives of area citizens while ensuring the long-term viability of the Brewton mill. While at the GP Brewton Mill, Jason served as a board member on the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce and the United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton. Jason also served on several committees with the Alabama Pulp and Paper Council and Manufacture Alabama.
